Backstage at the Speech Debelle and the Therapists photoshoot
It has been a busy couple of months for Fenchurch family member Speech Debelle, her debut album 'Speech Therapy' released only weeks ago has been shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize, Album of the Year.The only female artist on Ninja Tune label Big Dada Recordings, home to the likes of Roots Manuva and Ty, you'd think that Speech Debelle's Uk hip-hop pedigree would make her a formidable force to contend with, and she is...musically...However as anyone who knows Speech will tell you, an over-inflated ego is definitely not part of her package. Needless to say then that our photoshoot was a blast - more about cakes, pizza and beer than tantrums!
